WalkShield

WalkShield is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps owners of anxious or aggressive dogs plan lower-stress walks by avoiding common triggers. Users mark their dog’s trigger types (dogs, kids, bikes, loud vehicles) and preferred walking times. The app then suggests routes using a community-sourced “trigger heatmap” plus real-time inputs (recent sightings, crowdedness signals, and user reports). A simple “incident capture” flow logs what happened in under 15 seconds, building a personal risk profile over time. The goal is not to replace training, but to reduce the number of bad reps that set training back. It also includes a lightweight “safety kit” checklist (muzzle, leash setup, emergency U-turn plan) and shareable walk plans for family members or dog walkers. Monetization: subscription plus optional trainer partnerships.
