WallFitAR is a mobile + web app that helps people buy wall art with fewer returns by previewing true-to-scale pieces on their actual walls. Users scan a wall with their phone, the app auto-detects dimensions, lighting, and dominant colors, then overlays art to accurate size and perspective. It also recommends optimal frame size, mat width, and hanging height based on room type and furniture placement. For sellers (independent artists, print shops, galleries), WallFitAR provides a lightweight catalog uploader and embeds a “View on my wall” link on product pages. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles wall measurement, style matching, and lighting-aware rendering suggestions; traditional components handle catalog, checkout links, and analytics. The goal is to reduce buyer anxiety (“Will it look right?”) and increase conversion for art sellers without forcing them onto a new marketplace.
