WaqfLedger
WaqfLedger is a web + mobile app for mosques to manage donations, restricted funds (waqf/sadaqah/zakat), and spending with clear audit trails. Many masjids still run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and informal cash handling, which creates mistrust, volunteer burnout, and messy handovers when committees change. The app lets admins define fund categories and rules (e.g., zakat cannot pay utilities), issue digital receipts, reconcile bank deposits, and publish a simple monthly transparency page for the community. It also supports role-based permissions so treasurers, board members, and auditors see only what they need. This is not a “community social app”; it’s boring financial hygiene built for small nonprofits with Islamic constraints. The product wins if it reduces disputes and makes reporting painless, not if it adds fancy features.
