WardInbox

WardInbox is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps city councils and local agencies manage petitions, public comments, and feedback without losing track of who said what and what happened next. Residents submit feedback through a simple form or by forwarding an email; the system auto-tags topics (housing, roads, safety), de-duplicates near-identical submissions, and turns them into trackable “cases” with status updates. Staff get a triage queue, SLA timers, and a public-facing transparency page that shows aggregate progress (not private details). It integrates with existing tools (email, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) so adoption doesn’t require ripping out current workflows. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for classification, summarization, and duplicate detection, but humans approve responses. The goal is fewer dropped messages, faster routing, and measurable responsiveness.
