WardRounder

WardRounder is a mobile + web app for inpatient teams to run rounds with a structured, checklist-driven workflow that turns decisions into assigned tasks instantly. It focuses on the messy middle: capturing plan-of-care items (labs, imaging, consults, med changes, discharge steps), assigning owners, setting due times, and tracking completion without relying on memory, sticky notes, or scattered chat threads. The app provides a patient-centric task board, handoff-ready summaries, and simple escalation rules (e.g., “critical lab not reviewed by 2pm”). It integrates with hospital systems where possible, but the MVP can run as a lightweight layer that exports a clean note or summary to the EHR. This is not a magical cure for hospital inefficiency; it’s a pragmatic tool to reduce dropped balls and speed up daily throughput.
