WarmHandoff
WarmHandoff is a mobile + web app for peer support groups that are tired of being unsafe, chaotic, or performative. It matches users into small, moderated “pods” (6–10 people) based on issue, timezone, and communication style, then guides sessions with simple prompts and check-ins. The core is a safety workflow: if someone flags high distress, the app triggers a stepped response—peer check-in, trained volunteer mod, then optional crisis resources and local warm lines. It’s not therapy and doesn’t pretend to be; it’s structured peer support with guardrails. Users can stay pseudonymous, set boundaries (no DMs, no advice, no trauma details), and track mood trends privately. Communities (nonprofits, schools, employers) can run branded pods with basic reporting on engagement and risk flags without exposing personal content.
