WarmthCheck

WarmthCheck is a web + mobile app for nonprofits, municipalities, and utilities to identify and prioritize households at risk of energy poverty and disconnection. It combines simple intake (income band, household size, medical needs, arrears, heating type) with optional consent-based data pulls (utility billing history) and local signals (weather severity, neighborhood vulnerability indices). The app produces a ranked outreach list, recommended interventions (bill assistance, weatherization referral, payment plan), and tracks outcomes over time. It’s built for field workers: offline-first mobile forms, photo capture for unsafe heating setups, and one-tap referral letters. This is not a consumer “budgeting” app—those are ignored. The value is operational: fewer missed cases, faster triage, and auditable reporting for grant compliance. If you can’t prove impact, you don’t get renewed funding; WarmthCheck focuses on that reality.
