WatchRights

WatchRights is a mobile + web app that answers a deceptively hard question: “Where can I legally watch this show or movie in my country, right now, and what will it cost me?” It tracks title availability across major streaming services by region, flags when a title is leaving, and calculates the cheapest path to watch (e.g., rent vs. subscribe for one month vs. bundle). Users can build a watchlist and get alerts when something becomes available on a service they already pay for. The app also supports household profiles (different regions when traveling, different services per person) and provides a simple “subscription hygiene” view that highlights unused subscriptions based on watchlist activity. This is not a recommendation engine; it’s a practical availability-and-cost utility designed to reduce wasted time and money.
