WatchWarden

WatchWarden is a mobile + web app that helps parents quickly judge whether a kids/family TV episode is a good fit—without watching it first. It aggregates crowd-sourced “content flags” (scary scenes, bullying, death, romance, toilet humor, flashing lights) at the episode level, with timestamps and plain-language notes. Parents can set a child profile (age, sensitivities, bedtime rules) and get a simple green/yellow/red recommendation plus a short “what happens” summary that avoids spoilers unless requested. The app also offers a one-tap “skip list” you can keep open while watching, so you can fast-forward specific moments. This is not a streaming service and doesn’t host video; it’s a decision and guidance layer across popular platforms. It’s realistic because it focuses on metadata and community moderation, not expensive licensing or perfect automation.
