WattReceipt is a mobile + web AI app that reads your utility bills (PDFs, screenshots, email forwards) and turns them into a plain-English breakdown of where costs are rising and what to do next. Instead of vague “save energy” tips, it flags bill anomalies (rate hikes, demand spikes, seasonal drift), estimates the top 3 likely drivers, and generates a prioritized checklist with payback ranges. It also tracks changes over time so users can see whether a new thermostat schedule, insulation work, or appliance replacement actually moved the needle. For small businesses, it supports multiple meters/locations and produces a simple monthly “energy receipt” report for owners and accountants. This is not magic: it won’t perfectly infer device-level usage without smart meters, but it can reliably surface billing issues, trend shifts, and high-ROI next steps using the data people already have.
