WattWatch

WattWatch is a mobile + web app that helps households and small businesses find and fix energy waste using real utility data and optional smart-meter integrations. Users upload a bill PDF or connect their utility account (where supported) to see a clean breakdown of usage patterns, peak-cost windows, and “what changed” alerts month to month. The app focuses on practical actions: shifting appliance use away from peak rates, identifying always-on loads, and spotting abnormal spikes that suggest failing HVAC, water heater issues, or billing errors. It also includes a lightweight home inventory (HVAC type, insulation level, major appliances) to estimate savings from common upgrades without pretending to be perfectly accurate. This is a traditional app with AI-assisted insights (anomaly detection + bill parsing), but it avoids overpromising “magic” savings. The goal is clarity, not hype.
