WattWise

WattWise is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) that gives EV drivers a realistic, trip-specific range estimate and a simple “go/no-go” charging plan. Instead of relying on optimistic dashboard range, it factors in your recent driving efficiency, temperature, elevation changes, wind, payload, tire pressure (manual input), and speed profile to predict arrival state-of-charge with confidence bands. It also recommends the minimum charging stop needed to reduce time, not just the closest charger. The app is honest about uncertainty: it shows what it knows, what it’s guessing, and how much risk you’re taking if you skip a stop. It supports common EVs via OBD-II/Bluetooth adapters and manual entry for everyone else. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for data capture and routing, AI for personalized efficiency modeling and anomaly detection (e.g., sudden consumption spikes).
