WaxAudit is a mobile + web app that helps vinyl buyers and sellers reduce “graded wrong” disputes and overpaying. Users scan the runout/matrix text (camera + OCR) and barcode, then the app pulls likely pressing matches and recent sold comps. The key is a guided, standardized condition checklist with photo prompts (spindle wear, hairlines, seam splits, warps) and an optional short audio capture to flag obvious noise. It generates a shareable “Condition Report” PDF/link that marketplaces and local buyers can trust more than vague VG+/NM claims. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with OCR, pressing match suggestions, and anomaly detection, but the output is grounded in user-provided photos and checklists. Monetization: subscription for power sellers, per-report fees, and optional escrow/verification add-ons for high-value records.
