WeldGuard

WeldGuard is an AI-assisted web + industrial edge app that monitors robotic welding quality in near real time using existing signals (robot program state, weld controller parameters, current/voltage, wire feed, gas flow) and optional low-cost sensors. It learns each weld cell’s normal signature and flags drift, mis-taught points, consumable wear, grounding issues, and fixture movement before defects pile up. The app provides a simple “red/yellow/green” health score per part and per shift, with traceable evidence for QA: parameter trends, anomaly timestamps, and operator actions. Setup is pragmatic: connect via OPC UA/MQTT where possible, otherwise ingest CSV exports from weld controllers. It won’t replace destructive testing or full vision inspection, but it can cut scrap and rework by catching process drift early and standardizing root-cause notes across shifts.
