WeldWatch

WeldWatch is an AI computer-vision quality-inspection app for small and mid-sized manufacturers that do MIG/TIG/spot welding. Using a phone or an inexpensive industrial camera, it detects common visual weld issues (undercut, porosity clusters, inconsistent bead width, spatter severity, missed welds) and flags parts for rework with a simple pass/fail plus annotated evidence. The product focuses on practical deployment: guided camera placement, lighting checks, and per-station calibration so results are stable across shifts. It stores inspection images, defect types, and operator notes to create an audit trail and basic SPC-style trends (which station, which operator, which time window). This is not a magic “NDT replacement”; it’s a fast visual gate to reduce scrap, rework, and customer returns, especially where manual inspection is inconsistent or rushed.
