WelfareLens is a mobile + web AI app that helps food brands and retailers validate animal-welfare claims with lightweight, repeatable evidence. Farms upload short, guided video walkthroughs (housing, enrichment, handling, lameness checks) and periodic sensor snapshots (temperature, humidity, ammonia if available). The AI flags likely issues (overcrowding cues, poor litter, rough handling moments, missing enrichment) and produces a plain-language risk report plus a checklist of corrective actions. It’s not a certification body and won’t pretend to be; it’s a continuous monitoring layer that makes audits cheaper and more frequent. Brands can require suppliers to submit monthly “welfare packs,” track trends over time, and spot outliers before a PR crisis. The product lives or dies on trust, so every AI output is paired with human review options and clear confidence scoring.
