WelfarePulse is a mobile + web AI app for farms and livestock integrators to detect animal-welfare red flags early using low-friction data they already have. Instead of promising perfect “proof,” it focuses on practical risk reduction: quick daily checklists, incident logging, and optional computer-vision scoring from existing barn cameras (lameness, overcrowding, prolonged down animals, abnormal activity). The app turns observations into a simple welfare risk score per barn/lot, highlights trends, and recommends corrective actions aligned to common standards (e.g., GAP, RSPCA, retailer requirements). It also produces a plain-language report for internal QA and buyer audits without pretending to be a regulator. The reality: many operations won’t install new sensors or tolerate complex workflows—so the MVP is designed to work with smartphones, basic camera feeds, and minimal training. The goal is fewer incidents, fewer audit failures, and fewer PR disasters.
