WiFiTriage
WiFiTriage is a mobile + desktop app that helps IT teams and power users diagnose Wi‑Fi problems without hauling out expensive gear. The mobile app runs guided tests (RSSI/SNR, roaming behavior, latency/jitter, DNS, captive portal checks) and captures a short “network snapshot” with device model, driver, band, channel width, and AP BSSID details. The desktop/web console aggregates snapshots across users and locations, highlighting patterns like a bad AP radio, overloaded channel, misconfigured VLAN/DHCP, or a problematic client driver version. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional measurement and collection, plus AI to summarize likely root causes and recommend next steps (e.g., change channel plan, adjust minimum RSSI, fix DHCP scope exhaustion). It won’t magically fix bad RF design, but it will cut time-to-triage and reduce finger-pointing between ISP, network, and endpoint teams.
