WiFiTriage

WiFiTriage is a mobile + desktop app for diagnosing Wi‑Fi problems in homes and small offices without expensive gear. The mobile app walks users through a guided “triage” flow: measure signal, channel congestion, latency/jitter, packet loss, and roaming behavior room-by-room, then generates a plain-English root-cause report (e.g., “2.4GHz interference from neighbors,” “mesh backhaul weak,” “client stuck on wrong band,” “bufferbloat on uplink”). The desktop companion collects deeper metrics from the network (where possible) and stores historical baselines so users can prove whether changes helped. It’s brutally practical: it won’t magically fix ISP outages or bad building materials, but it will tell you what’s actually happening and what to try next, with prioritized steps and expected impact. Monetization: subscription for advanced reports, history, and multi-site support; one-time “pro” option for power users.
