WiFiTruth is a mobile + web app that maps real, room-by-room network performance and turns it into actionable fixes. Instead of generic speed tests, it runs guided walks through your home, measuring latency, jitter, packet loss, and roaming behavior to pinpoint dead zones, interference, and bad mesh handoffs. It then generates a simple “Fix Plan” tailored to your gear: optimal router/mesh placement, channel recommendations, and which devices are stuck on 2.4GHz or a weak AP. The app can optionally integrate with supported routers to pull telemetry and apply safe changes, but it’s still useful without integrations. You can share a diagnostic report with your ISP or installer to avoid endless blame games. Realistically, the hardest part is reliable router integrations—so the MVP focuses on measurement, mapping, and clear guidance first.
