WildIntake is a mobile + web app for wildlife rehabilitators to standardize intake, triage, and daily care documentation without drowning in paperwork. It provides species-appropriate intake forms, injury/condition checklists, weight/feeding logs, medication schedules, and chain-of-custody notes in one place. The AI component helps draft concise medical notes from structured entries, flags missing required fields for permits, and suggests likely differential considerations (not diagnoses) based on symptoms and species—always requiring human confirmation. It also generates export-ready reports for state/provincial agencies and produces a clean case timeline for transfers or euthanasia decisions. Reality check: this won’t “save every animal”; it mainly saves staff time, reduces errors, and improves compliance—valuable in underfunded, volunteer-heavy centers.
