WindLock

WindLock is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that gives hunters hyper-local wind and thermals guidance for specific stand sites, not just a generic weather forecast. You drop pins for stands, blinds, and access routes, then the app pulls high-resolution forecast data and terrain context to estimate wind direction shifts by hour, likely swirl risk, and best approach paths to reduce scent exposure. It also supports quick “field notes” after each sit (wind felt, deer movement, shot opportunities) to build a personal history that improves decisions over time. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional forecasting/UX plus an AI layer that summarizes patterns from your notes and suggests which stand is most likely to work under tomorrow’s conditions. It’s realistic because it doesn’t promise magic—just better decision support than broad forecasts.
