WindPermit

WindPermit is a web app (with optional mobile field companion) that helps small-to-mid wind developers and consultants assemble permitting packages faster and with fewer rework cycles. It centralizes site evidence (photos, met mast/LiDAR summaries, noise and shadow-flicker inputs, landowner docs, setback maps) into a structured checklist aligned to common county/state requirements. The app generates a “permit-ready” binder: standardized narratives, exhibits, and an audit trail showing data sources and assumptions. It also tracks stakeholder requests, deadlines, and revision history so teams don’t lose weeks to email chaos. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with drafting, consistency checks, and gap detection, but humans remain responsible for engineering judgments. Realistically, it won’t replace specialists; it just reduces admin drag and prevents avoidable omissions that trigger costly resubmissions.
