WingTriage
WingTriage is a mobile + web app for bird rescue and rehabilitation centers that standardizes intake, triage, and daily care logs without turning staff into full-time data entry clerks. Rescuers capture a case in under a minute: species guess, found location, photos, symptoms checklist, and immediate instructions (warmth, hydration, isolation) based on local protocols. The app then generates a simple care plan, medication schedule, and progress timeline, with reminders and a handoff view for shift changes. It also tracks cage/aviary occupancy, quarantine status, and release readiness criteria. A lightweight AI layer can suggest likely species and flag red-flag symptoms from photos/notes, but it never replaces a licensed rehabber’s judgment. Reporting exports help with permits, grant reporting, and volunteer coordination. This is not glamorous; it’s operational plumbing that reduces mistakes and lost information.
