WireMocker
WireMocker is a web + desktop companion app for integration testing teams who are tired of brittle environments and third‑party outages. It captures real HTTP/gRPC traffic between services (in staging or controlled prod canaries), automatically redacts sensitive fields, and turns the captured interactions into deterministic “replay packs” that can be run in CI as contract-like integration tests. Instead of maintaining endless hand-written mocks, teams record once, then replay against new builds to catch breaking changes, unexpected payload drift, and edge-case responses. It includes a lightweight proxy/agent, a replay runner, and a simple UI to approve recordings, set matching rules (strict vs tolerant), and track failures over time. It’s not magic: it won’t replace true end-to-end tests, but it will drastically reduce the cost and flakiness of integration coverage for service-to-service APIs.
