WithholdFix is a web + mobile companion that continuously checks whether your state and local tax withholding matches your real life. Users connect payroll (ADP, Gusto, Workday via integrations where possible), upload recent paystubs, and enter residency/work-location details (including remote days and multi-state travel). The app estimates year-end state/local liability, flags under/over-withholding, and generates step-by-step instructions to adjust withholding (state forms, employer portals, or a ready-to-send email template). It also tracks common triggers that break withholding—moving mid-year, switching to hybrid work, working in a neighboring state, local city taxes, and reciprocity agreements. This is not a full tax filing product; it’s a “prevention” tool designed to reduce penalties and cash-flow shocks. Expect some manual inputs because payroll systems and local tax rules are messy and inconsistent.
