Instead of trying to out-map Google/Waze, it aggregates DOT/municipal work-zone feeds, permit schedules, and verified user reports into a single “closure truth” layer. The app pushes proactive alerts for your typical commute and planned trips: lane drops, night paving, rolling closures, and ramp shutdowns, with start/end times and confidence scores. An AI component cleans messy agency text, deduplicates overlapping incidents, and predicts likely delay impact based on historical patterns and current speed data. Realistically, it won’t beat incumbents on general navigation, so it integrates: export to Apple Maps/Google Maps with a heads-up overlay and calendar-style planning.
