WorryWarden

WorryWarden is a mobile app (with a parent web dashboard) that helps kids ages 8–13 notice anxiety patterns before they blow up. Kids do 30–60 second “check-ins” using simple sliders, emoji-free plain language, and optional voice notes. The app turns that into a private “worry timeline” and teaches one micro-skill at a time (box breathing, grounding, thought labeling) with short, game-like drills that don’t pretend to be therapy. A parent/guardian dashboard shows trends and red flags (sleep disruption, repeated panic markers, self-harm keywords) without exposing every journal entry, preserving trust. When risk thresholds are hit, the app prompts a pre-agreed action plan: talk to a trusted adult, school counselor, or crisis resources. It’s designed to complement real support, not replace it.
