XRJobCoach is a mobile AR app (with optional smart-glasses support) that overlays step-by-step work instructions onto real equipment using visual anchors and simple 3D callouts. It’s built for field technicians and junior operators who struggle with inconsistent SOPs, tribal knowledge, and remote sites where expert help isn’t available. A supervisor can create a “job recipe” by recording a walkthrough once, then the app guides the next worker with checkpoints, required photos, and pass/fail confirmations. It also supports quick remote assist: a senior tech can draw annotations in the worker’s view and push the next step. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps auto-generate draft steps from a recorded session and flags missing safety checks, but the core value is reliable, auditable guidance. Expect messy environments and imperfect tracking; the MVP should focus on a narrow set of repeatable procedures.
