YardBatch

YardBatch is a mobile + web app that lets neighbors combine outdoor and garden purchases (mulch, soil, gravel, plants, compost) into a single bulk order to cut delivery fees and per-unit costs. Users create or join a “batch” for their street/HOA, pick quantities, and choose a delivery window. The app coordinates split payments, vendor selection, and drop-off logistics (one truck, one stop or a few clustered stops). It also handles practical details: where the pallet can be placed, whether a liftgate is needed, and who is available to receive delivery. This is a traditional app with light AI: it suggests optimal batch sizes, recommends vendors based on price/lead time, and predicts delivery feasibility from address constraints. The goal is simple: make bulk buying as easy as ordering pizza, but for yard projects.
