YardBeacon

YardBeacon is a web + mobile app for warehouses that lose time and money searching for trailers, containers, and dropped loads in the yard. It provides a simple yard map, a searchable inventory of trailers, and a check-in/check-out workflow that drivers and yard jockeys can complete in seconds. The system supports QR placards and optional low-cost BLE tags so locations are captured without expensive RTLS projects. Dispatchers can assign moves, set priorities, and see dwell time, detention risk, and “missing trailer” alerts. It integrates with TMS/WMS via lightweight APIs so inbound/outbound appointments and load IDs stay consistent. This is not a full WMS replacement; it’s a focused yard execution layer that reduces chaos, phone calls, and detention fees with minimal change management.
