YardSlot

YardSlot is a web + mobile app that lets shippers, warehouses, and carriers schedule and enforce truck arrival windows to reduce gate congestion, detention, and constant phone calls. Warehouses publish available time slots by dock/yard zone, carriers request or auto-book based on load details, and drivers receive a QR code for fast check-in. The system tracks arrival, dwell time, and turnaround, then produces detention-ready timestamps and simple performance reports. It’s not a full TMS; it’s a lightweight layer that works alongside email and spreadsheets, designed for small-to-mid facilities that can’t justify enterprise yard management software. The MVP focuses on one facility at a time, with role-based access for gate staff, dock leads, and dispatchers. If you can’t get both sides (facility + carriers) to use it, it won’t work—so onboarding and frictionless check-in are core.
