YatraShield is a mobile + web app that helps Hindu pilgrims plan and execute festival and pilgrimage trips with fewer surprises. It aggregates temple opening windows, darshan ticket rules, crowd patterns, road closures, and local advisories into a single itinerary that updates in real time. Users pick a yatra (Kashi, Tirupati, Shirdi, Char Dham, Kumbh, etc.), dates, budget, and mobility needs; the app suggests best arrival times, backup routes, and realistic buffers. It also includes a “family mode” for group coordination, offline maps for patchy networks, and verified local service listings (wheelchairs, lockers, prasad counters, trusted guides). This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI summarizes advisories, predicts crowd risk by time blocks, and flags itinerary conflicts. Monetization is via subscriptions for frequent travelers and referral fees from vetted transport/hotels.
