YieldGuard

YieldGuard is a web + mobile app for small-to-mid meat processors to pinpoint where yield and rework losses actually happen across slaughter and primary processing. Instead of trying to replace your ERP/MES, it focuses on the ugly, high-frequency problems plants struggle to measure: trim loss, condemnations, rework loops, downtime reasons, and spec misses by lot, shift, and crew. Operators log events in seconds on a rugged-friendly mobile UI; supervisors review a simple dashboard that converts plant-floor noise into a few actionable drivers. The system supports photo evidence, quick reason codes, and basic integrations (CSV/API) so you can start without a massive IT project. An optional AI layer flags abnormal loss patterns (e.g., sudden spike in condemnations on a supplier lot) and suggests the most likely root causes based on historical correlations. It’s realistic, narrow, and designed to pay for itself fast—or it won’t survive procurement.
