YieldGuard
YieldGuard is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that turns confusing bond listings into a plain-English “risk and return” brief for individual investors. Users paste a CUSIP/ISIN or upload a brokerage PDF, and the app summarizes key terms (call features, duration, credit quality, liquidity signals) and stress-tests the position under rate and spread shocks. It flags common retail traps: callable bonds priced above par, thinly traded munis with wide markups, and “yield” that’s mostly compensation for hidden risks. The app also estimates realistic exit value using recent TRACE prints (when available) and shows how much of performance is driven by rates vs credit vs optionality. It’s not a trading platform; it’s a decision and monitoring layer that sits on top of any brokerage account, with watchlists and alerts when risk changes (downgrade, call probability shifts, curve moves).
