YieldRadar

YieldRadar is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps retail investors and small RIAs compare real, after-fee, after-tax yields across Treasuries, TIPS, munis, CDs, and popular bond ETFs. It pulls live curves and indicative pricing, then normalizes everything into a single “effective yield” view based on your state, tax bracket, holding period, and reinvestment assumptions. The app flags hidden yield killers like high ETF expense ratios, premium/discount effects, callable structures, and poor liquidity. Users can build a simple fixed-income plan (cash needs, duration target, credit quality), and the app suggests a few implementable options with clear tradeoffs rather than pretending there’s one perfect answer. This is not a trading app; it’s a decision and monitoring layer that links out to your broker for execution.
