ZikrTimer

ZikrTimer is a mobile app that helps users build a consistent dhikr and wird routine with structure and accountability. It provides customizable sessions (time-based or count-based), subtle haptic/tap counting, and optional audio pacing for common litanies. The app includes a “tariqa-neutral” library of public-domain adhkar and widely used awrad with clear sourcing notes, plus a private mode for users to add their shaykh’s instructions without sharing them publicly. Progress is tracked as streaks and weekly totals, but the tone avoids gamification that feels spiritually tacky. A lightweight journal lets users note mood, distractions, and reflections after sessions. The app is honest about what it can’t do: it won’t replace a teacher or claim spiritual outcomes. It simply reduces friction so practice actually happens.
