ZipSwitch

ZipSwitch is a web + mobile AI app that helps home buyers relocating to a new city shortlist neighborhoods based on real-life fit, not just listings. Users answer a quick profile (commute tolerance, school priorities, noise sensitivity, walkability, budget, lifestyle), then ZipSwitch generates a ranked set of neighborhoods with plain-English tradeoffs. It pulls in hard data (crime, schools, transit, taxes, insurance risk, flood/fire zones, permits activity) and overlays “daily life” signals (review sentiment, foot-traffic proxies, event density). It also includes a relocation checklist tied to the chosen area: utilities, DMV, voter registration, local service providers, and a timeline. The app is brutally transparent about uncertainty and data gaps, and it flags when your preferences are unrealistic for your budget so you waste less time touring the wrong places.
