ZoneDrift
ZoneDrift is a web app (with optional CLI agent) that monitors DNS zones across providers and flags risky or unauthorized changes in near real time. It continuously snapshots records, compares diffs, and correlates changes with uptime/latency signals so you can see which DNS edit likely caused an outage. The product is intentionally narrow: change detection, blast-radius estimation, and fast rollback guidance—not a full DNS host. It supports common providers (Cloudflare, Route 53, Azure DNS, Google Cloud DNS) and can also watch “external” zones via AXFR where allowed or via periodic authoritative queries when transfers aren’t possible. Alerts go to Slack/Teams/PagerDuty with a human-readable diff (record, TTL, target, previous value) and a “what to check next” checklist. Expect to compete with incumbents on simplicity and speed-to-value, not feature breadth.
