Users claim a seat, locker, shelf section, or equipment slot for a defined time window, with simple rules set by the space admin (max duration, renewal limits, no-claim zones). Claims are verified via QR/NFC check-in at the location, creating an audit trail that reduces “I was here first” arguments. The app also supports quick releases, swap requests, and violation reporting (e.g., abandoned items). Admins get a live occupancy/claim map, automated reminders before expiration, and basic analytics on peak usage to adjust policies. It’s not magical—people can still ignore rules—but it makes enforcement and fairness far easier with minimal friction.
