ZoneScout

ZoneScout is a mobile + web AI app that turns full-game basketball video into searchable defensive breakdowns. You upload a single wide-angle recording (phone on tripod is fine), and the app auto-detects possessions, labels coverage types (man, zone, switch, hedge), and flags common mistakes (late help, missed box-out, bad closeout) with short clips. Coaches can filter by player, action (PnR, drive-and-kick, post entry), or outcome (open 3, foul, paint touch) and export a “teach tape” playlist for the next practice. It’s realistic: accuracy won’t be perfect, so the UI is built around fast human correction (one-tap relabeling) and team-specific templates. The goal isn’t NBA-grade tracking—it’s saving coaches hours of film work and making defensive accountability easier at the youth, high school, and small-college levels.
