ZoningPing

Unincorporated areas are a mess: residents often don’t know which agency handles roads, permits, policing, code enforcement, or elections. ZoningPing is a mobile + web app that turns an address or GPS pin into a clear “who’s responsible” map and contact path. It shows county supervisor district, special districts (fire, water, sanitation), school district, service boundaries, and the exact permitting authority for common projects (fences, sheds, grading, septic). It also provides a simple issue router: pick a problem (pothole, illegal dumping, noise, dead animal, drainage), attach a photo, and it generates the correct destination (phone, email, online form) with a pre-filled template. An AI layer summarizes confusing county code pages into plain-English do’s/don’ts and flags when information is uncertain. The product is realistic if you start county-by-county and charge counties, HOAs, and local service providers for distribution and analytics.
